At SlingTrack, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our bespoke AI song creation platform, how that information is used to craft and share your music, and how we protect your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
When you create a personalized song on SlingTrack, you provide us with specific information required to generate your custom lyrics, synthesize the vocal audio, and deliver the final track. This includes:
- Song Parameters: Occasion, recipient name, genre/musical style preference, vibe, and inside jokes or quirks you choose to share.
- Contact Information: Your sender name and any contact email address optionally provided for customer support or order communication.
- Payment Information: All payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store or process raw credit card numbers on our servers.
- Usage, Device & Advertising Data: When you visit SlingTrack, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived at our site (for example, the ad or link you clicked, including campaign tags and click identifiers), and cookie or similar identifiers. We use this to operate and secure the service, understand how visitors use it, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

Custom songs are generated for direct web playback and social sharing:
You retain full control over sharing your song link. SlingTrack does not publicly broadcast or index your custom tracks unless you choose to share them on social channels.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your submitted details exclusively for the following purposes:
- AI Lyric Generation: Your occasion, recipient name, and quirks are processed via secure generative AI models (such as Google Gemini) to craft personalized rhyming song verses.
- Audio Synthesis: Generated lyrics and style preferences are processed via voice synthesis platforms (such as ElevenLabs) to produce the vocal song track.
- Order Fulfillment & Playout: Delivering the private web link to stream, share, and download the resulting MP3 song file.
- Customer Support: Responding to inquiries or troubleshooting delivery issues.
- Analytics & Advertising Measurement: Understanding how visitors use SlingTrack, diagnosing problems, and measuring whether our ads work, as described in Section 5.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We engage vetted third-party service providers to power essential platform functionalities:
- Stripe: Payment gateway and transaction processing.
- Google Gemini: Natural language lyric composition with strict data privacy filters.
- ElevenLabs: AI audio rendering and vocal synthesis.
- Vercel & Cloud Databases: Secure application hosting and encrypted data persistence.
- SendGrid (Twilio): Delivery of your song email.
- Google Tag Manager: Loads our analytics and advertising tools.
- LogRocket: Session recording and error diagnostics, to help us find and fix problems in the song studio. Text you type into form fields is masked and not recorded.
- Vercel Web Analytics: Privacy-friendly, cookieless page-view statistics.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Advertising measurement, as described in Section 5.
These service providers are bound by strict confidentiality and security agreements and are permitted to process your information only as necessary to perform their respective services.
5. Advertising & Measurement
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether our ads work, we use Meta's Pixel on our website, and we send purchase information directly from our servers through Meta's Conversions API. Meta and other third parties may use cookies and similar technologies on our site to collect or receive this information.
- What is shared with Meta: Cookie identifiers and ad-click identifiers; your IP address and browser details; the pages and steps you visit (such as starting a song or beginning checkout); and, when you buy, the order value, currency, and an order reference. When available, your email address and phone number are shared in hashed (one-way encrypted) form so Meta can match the purchase to an ad without receiving them in readable form.
- What is never shared with Meta: Your song details, the recipient's name, inside jokes, lyrics or audio, or your payment card information.
Meta may use this information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy, including to measure and improve ads. You can control how Meta uses your information for ads in your Meta ad preferences, and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser will also limit this tracking.
6. Data Retention & Security
We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit and at rest. Generated songs and associated lyrics are stored in secure cloud storage to ensure your private streaming link remains accessible for you and your recipient to replay and download. You may request deletion of your song record and associated data at any time.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to access, review, or request deletion of any personal information or generated audio files associated with your orders. You may contact our privacy team at any time to request data deletion.
Opting out of advertising measurement. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we will not send your purchase information to Meta from our servers. You can also email support@slingtrack.com to ask us to stop sharing your information for advertising measurement.
